This site has a very obvious purpose… display a chart of awesome websites. The content of the site is top notch, and while the design is basic, it has great artistic accents. Subtle design details, like the cropped numbers in the list, add a certain element to the site. With frequent updates, this one deserves a couple visits (especially since there is no RSS feed).

One Page Love

One Page Love showcases awesome single page websites. The design is super simple, which compensates for that fact that it’s not a single page design

Logofi offers a very clean layout that provides an adequate view of each gallery item. The pink accent also provides a crisp and lively atmosphere.

CSS Garden

CSS Garden has a very cool footer design. Feels like the header could have received some better treatment, but it’s nice to have a good chunk of content “above the fold” as they say.

Footerama

Love this category! Footers are easily one of the most overlooked aspects in web design, so it’s nice there is a site that tries to celebrate the awesomeness of footers. The site would definitely benefit from more white space in the design since elements seem to smash up next to each other. The content is good. There’s a nice screenshot of the footer for each listing.

Art In My Coffee showcases amazing artistry in the form of foam. On top of that, the design of the site is gorgeous. I dare you to visit this site and not crave the Italian beverage of awesomeness.

We Love Icons has a focus on, you guessed it, icons. The content is great, but the site design is outstanding. You’ll be gawking at the superb attention to detail and lighting.

Minimal Sites has a great focus on only showcasing, well, minimal sites. The design of the site matches it’s name, but it may be a little to basic. Luckily the content of the site is definitely worth checking out.
